Integration of Existing Novell Products With Linux Platform
Novell, a leading provider of infrastructure software, needed to integrate existing products with the Linux platform while ensuring a smooth migration path from Windows. N-iX supported this effort as an independent R&D center, working on key Novell products including NetWare and GroupWise, along with Linux-based client and enterprise components.
N-iX implemented the integration of Novell products with Linux from concept through execution and also contributed to Novell UDDI Server development. The work helped deliver Linux connectivity and enterprise web services capabilities, and Novell’s NetWare Client for Linux went on to be used by over 13,000 enterprises worldwide.
