Enterprise App that Monitors and Controls Automated Systems

Fluke Corporation, through its SCHAD division, needed a global standard for mobile operation, control, and maintenance of automated systems in downtime-critical environments like manufacturing, logistics, and airports. N-iX supported the effort by enhancing Fluke’s enterprise asset management solutions and building a new mobile-enabled software product, including a server-side platform and a flexible mobile client.

N-iX designed an ESB-like integration architecture, developed and tested the full solution, and delivered a customizable HTML5-based mobile UI. The result was Fluke Connect2, which combines SCADA/PLC condition data with EAM/CMMS information and helps maintenance teams act faster; the solution has been shown to reduce unplanned downtime by as much as 60%.
