A N-iX Case Study

Preview of the MediorNet Case Study

Embedded Software and Hardware Development for a Broadcasting Network

MediorNet, a real-time network for video, audio, and communications, needed hardware and software development support to build a real-time broadcasting and communication system. The company was looking for an experienced embedded development partner to help deliver a high-tech multimedia signal routing solution that met strict performance, quality, and certification requirements.

N-iX provided embedded software, hardware development, and QA/testing services, helping refine the product architecture, design boards and circuits, and rigorously test the system. The solution achieved real-time media transmission at up to 32 Gbps, passed certification for broadcasting use, and enabled flexible signal conversion and routing; it was installed on ORF1 and later used in major events such as the Sochi and Rio Olympics.
