A N-iX Case Study
The University of Texas at Tyler, a public university in Texas offering more than 80 academic degrees, wanted to enhance its education and training courses with a virtual reality experience that could support multiple users at once. The university partnered with N-iX to build a VR application for a shared virtual environment, with features like voice chat, 3D object interaction, and collaborative drawing.
N-iX developed the solution in one month using Unity, Photon, and HTC Vive support, and delivered multiplayer functionality for up to 10 users simultaneously, including head-and-hands representation and online synchronization. N-iX also created 3D rooms and objects for the experience, helping the university launch a VR learning tool with measurable support for real-time collaboration and immersive education.
