Creating Template Documents in OpenText Content Server with ICCS

OpenText needed a more flexible way to create and manage legal template documents in OpenText Content Server, while keeping standard contract structures intact and limiting which sections staff could edit. The company already stored client information in Content Server, but it needed a better process for generating fast, customizable contracts without having to maintain a large number of separate templates. N-iX analyzed the requirements and recommended OpenText’s Communications Center Enterprise Interactive Correspondence for Content Server, using OpenText Content Server and Exstream ReTouch.

N-iX implemented the solution so templates could be exposed in Content Server, populated with metadata automatically, and edited in a web-based interface with controlled approval workflows. As a result, OpenText reduced the number of fixed templates, made contract management easier, and established a clear process for modifying and approving client-specific documents. The solution improved control and consistency across tailored contracts, helping ensure they still met predefined forms and requirements.
