Paradox Interactive, the Stockholm-based video game developer behind Stellaris, needed a reliable art production partner to create compelling concept art and 3D spaceship assets for regular DLC and expansion releases under tight deadlines. The challenge was to match Stellaris’ distinctive visual style and follow strict production guidelines while developing both existing races and new content from scratch.
N-iX Game and VR Studio supported Paradox Interactive with concept art and 3D game art production for Stellaris, using a structured pipeline from blockout to texturing in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Quixel Suite, and Autodesk Maya. N-iX delivered quality art for three DLC releases, including 7 spaceships for Apocalypse and 16 spaceships for Humanoids Species Pack, while meeting release schedules and maintaining smooth communication and feedback cycles.
