PCnet, an IT services firm in Wichita Falls, Texas that sells, services and networks PCs and printers since 1995, had adopted N-able Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) to protect its customers but faced pushback from clients who preferred traditional antivirus. That resistance led one customer to decline migration and suffer a ransomware attack that impacted their entire network and forced PCnet to rebuild the customer’s infrastructure from the ground up.
