Innogy, the energy supplier operating in 16 EU countries plus Australia, the U.S. and Canada, wanted to move beyond the “post and pray” approach and strengthen active sourcing in a changing labor market. Its recruiting team found that managing relationships with candidates across social networks was difficult, so it set out to create its own dedicated talent pool with myVeeta.

With myVeeta, innogy launched its “Pioneerpool” quickly after involving employer branding, data protection, and IT stakeholders. The results were immediate: the company reached its first 200 talents in less than a week, and open roles are now matched weekly against the pool. Around 75% of candidates prefer mobile communication channels such as WhatsApp or SMS, and the pool continues to grow on its own, with many highly qualified talents joining and showing strong interest in innogy as an employer.
