PA Digitale develops Urbi, a web-based SaaS ERP that helps Italian local and central authorities deliver e-government services required by the national digital administration plan. PA Digitale deployed MySQL Enterprise (MySQL Enterprise Server plus Enterprise Monitor, Query Analyzer and 24x7 support) as the core database for Urbi. The MySQL solution delivers continuous availability, proactive performance tuning and easier database administration; today Urbi serves around 9 million citizens per week, handles peaks of about 33,500 queries per minute, and has improved accessibility and reduced operational costs.
