CyberTech Selects MySQL for its Voice Recording System

CyberTech B.V., a Netherlands–based provider of hardware and software for multimedia communications (best known for its MynaVoice recording system with 100,000+ users), needed an embedded database that could quickly store and recall very large volumes of multimedia call data—some customers retain over five million conversations per year—while remaining easy to use, affordable and highly extensible.

CyberTech embedded MySQL to store call records and metadata while encrypted audio files remain on disk; a searchable web interface recalls, decrypts, authenticates and replays calls.
