Johnson County Rotary Foundation (KS) runs an annual Valentine Rose Sale where club members and volunteers deliver all sold roses and donate proceeds to a local charity. Faced with a three-day window to prepare flowers, organize orders and plan deliveries to about 250 addresses split among 15–20 drivers, the team needed a fast, reliable way to create balanced routes and communicate them to volunteers.
They used MyRouteOnline to import their Excel address list, generate 18 balanced routes (about 12–14 stops each) from a common start point, make a few manual adjustments, and email routes to drivers. Volunteers opened routes on their smartphones and launched navigation in Google Maps, cutting planning time from hours to under an hour and enabling smooth, timely deliveries for a very successful fundraiser.
