Healthcare Services Company Plans Flexible Routes

A healthcare services firm with 20 consultants supports several hundred patients and partners across a wide region. To manage coverage they divided the area into geographic territories and assigned each consultant a territory, but MyRouteOnline’s 250-address limit forced them to split their master list (initially by ZIP code) into multiple lists. They then used three 250-stop lists to plan 5–7 routes each, assigning each route plan to a consultant who often needed to change routes as schedules evolved.

We launched a Territory Planner to automate territory creation (not limited to ZIP codes), enabling more logical list splits and faster multi-route planning and assignment. Consultants can reload saved plans and quickly add or delete stops, making route updates simple; the result is more efficient, flexible route management and reduced manual work for the field team.
