Document Destruction Company Plans Multiple Routes

An Ohio document destruction company with two trucks making 5–15 stops per day needed a better way to enter and reuse customer addresses than Google Maps, which didn’t support bulk imports or exporting reusable route files. They wanted a streamlined, repeatable planning process for daily and weekly routes.

They adopted MyRouteOnline to import either a week’s list (creating 10 routes — five per truck per workday) or a day’s list (creating two routes — one per truck), exporting all routes to Excel and saving them online. Routes can also be emailed, turned into driving directions, or exported as GPS files, and because daily lists are included in the weekly import, addresses re-planned within 30 days aren’t re-charged.
