Boy Scouts Plot Routes for Christmas Tree Pickup

Troop 132 of the Boy Scouts in Concord, Massachusetts runs an annual Christmas tree pickup fundraiser that serves more than 600 addresses and is the troop’s only fundraiser. Routing was done by hand for over 20 routes and eight rented trucks, which was time-consuming, error-prone and required an easy, affordable solution.

After evaluating three services, the troop selected MyRouteOnline for its usability, price and forgiving address handling. The software lets them quickly create and adjust routes, set start and dump points, enforce territories, and print maps and ordered lists — producing more efficient, easier-to-follow routes, happier pickup teams, and a process the troop will reuse and recommend.
