Compass Housing Services Co Ltd is Australia’s largest regionally based community housing provider, managing thousands of properties and expanding rapidly through mergers and major redevelopment projects. To support this growth, Compass needed a high-performance, fully integrated business system that could handle increasingly complex asset management, reporting, tenancy administration, and changing compliance requirements. MYOB’s Greentree ERP was selected as the long-term platform to replace disparate systems and provide a scalable foundation for future expansion.

MYOB Greentree delivered a centralized, real-time housing system covering properties, tenants, maintenance, finance, and reporting, with direct integration to Centrelink for automated rent review processing. The result was major efficiency gains: Compass reduced the team needed for income verification from eight or 10 people for 10 weeks every six months to just two people for four to six weeks, while rent calculations ran in the background. MYOB Greentree also added value through modules for payroll, purchase orders, fixed assets, service management, job cost analysis, and emergency SMS alerts, giving Compass better visibility, faster decisions, and flexible support for ongoing growth.
