A MYOB Case Study
SEA Electric, an Australian electric vehicle manufacturer with operations across multiple countries, was growing quickly but struggling with disconnected systems. Before adopting MYOB Advanced, the company used Xero for accounting and payroll and NetSuite for production, with spreadsheets filling the gaps, which led to double entry, reconciliation work, and poor inventory visibility.
MYOB implemented MYOB Advanced, along with MYOB Advanced People and JAMS, to unify finance, payroll, inventory, and manufacturing in one system. The result was reduced data handling, better inventory and production control, automated purchasing and BOM processes, simplified payroll exports, and a platform that can scale with SEA Electric’s expansion into new markets and product lines.
