Ramsay Health Care, through Mildura Base Hospital, needed a better way to manage payroll after moving the function in-house following privatisation. The hospital was looking for a cost-effective, integrated people management solution with healthcare experience, and chose MYOB PayGlobal payroll software, including its Award Interpreter module.
MYOB implemented a system that automated payroll calculations to ensure staff across multiple job titles were paid correctly according to award rates, without the need for customisation. The result was more flexible reporting, including daily time-and-attendance reports, and a reduction of around 10 hours per week in payroll administration for two staff members.
