Auckland Rugby Union, which manages and supports 19 rugby clubs across the Auckland province, needed to replace a financial system that had been in place for more than 20 years. Its legacy setup wasn’t cloud based, relied on manual input, and made reporting, data access, and accountability difficult. MYOB helped the organisation modernise with MYOB Advanced.

MYOB Advanced gave Auckland Rugby Union a flexible, cloud-based finance platform with automated AP approvals, invoice scanning, stronger reporting, and easier consolidation. Since go-live in November 2018, user numbers grew from 3 to 16, month-end board reporting dropped from several days to a matter of hours, and manual data-entry work was significantly reduced.
