Offenders Aid and Rehabilitation Services of SA Inc (OARS), a South Australian not-for-profit supporting ex-offenders and their families, was struggling with slow, manual funding and cost-centre reporting. As reporting needs grew across 20–30 cost centres, staff were spending up to 40% of the month on reports and as much as 70–80% at month-end. OARS was using MYOB Greentree.
MYOB Greentree, implemented with help from a partner, added Reports and Documents plus enhanced Human Resources & Payroll functionality, including Human Resources Management and Employee Development. This let OARS run reports directly from the system, improve audit efficiency, centralise employee information, and set alerts for training and police checks. The result was faster, more flexible reporting across numerous cost centres, real-time visibility of costs, fewer missed employee checks, and hours saved each month.
