OARS, a South Australian not-for-profit supporting ex-offenders and their families, needed a faster way to handle increasingly complex funding and cost-centre reporting. As reporting demands grew across 20–30 cost centres, staff were spending up to 40% of the month on reports and as much as 70–80% at month-end. OARS used MYOB Greentree, including its reporting and payroll capabilities, but manual spreadsheet-based processes were slowing everything down.
MYOB implemented MYOB Greentree Reports and Documents, along with Human Resources Management and Employee Development functionality, giving OARS direct reporting from the ERP system, better payroll integration, and alerting for employee training and police checks. The result was quicker, more flexible reporting across multiple funding programs, real-time visibility of cost centres, and fewer missed compliance tasks. OARS said hours of work are now saved every month, with up-to-date and accurate reports available in a timely manner.
