A MYOB Case Study

MYOB Greentree helps MONA consolidate, streamline and access live data from more than 50 different profit centres

The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), Australia’s largest privately funded museum, needed a better way to manage a complex operation spanning galleries, food and beverage venues, accommodation, retail, winery, brewery, and events. Its existing accounting system couldn’t cope with the volume and variety of transactions or provide the flexible reporting and analysis MONA needed. MONA chose MYOB Greentree to support its growing business.

MYOB Greentree, implemented with integration to MONA’s POS systems and Greentree IQ, centralized data from around 20 POS terminals and helped manage roughly half a million transactions a year across about 50 profit centres. The solution delivered faster reporting, live data access, and on-the-spot queries, while supporting growth with only one additional finance employee. MONA can now produce consolidated or highly detailed reports in seconds and better monitor budgets, margins, staffing, and profitability.
