DGR Global, an Australian mining resources company with around 70 subsidiaries and multiple listed entities, was struggling with “ludicrous” complexity in month-end reporting and consolidation. Using MYOB AccountRight across separate files, the finance team had to extract data into Excel, run macros, and manually manage audits, leaving them spending inordinate amounts of time on reporting.

MYOB implemented MYOB Advanced to provide scalable, intuitive ERP functionality for multi-entity, multi-currency operations. The result was dramatically improved reporting and control: month-end work dropped from a full month to about 80 hours, the team reclaimed at least 240 workhours a month, audits became much easier, and manual processes such as inter-company transactions and currency conversion were automated.
