Forest Traffic Services, a leading traffic management contractor operating for over 30 years with more than 200 operatives completing around 2,000 jobs per month, faced a manual, paper-based workflow of spreadsheets, whiteboards and job packs that left the office without real-time visibility. Job packs often took about two weeks to return, delaying invoicing and customer responses, so Forest engaged MyMobileWorkers and its mobile job-management platform and online portal to replace the paper process.
MyMobileWorkers was rolled out depot-by-depot, delivering electronic job packs, mandatory mobile safety checks, photo capture and instant office access to job data. The change forced a consistent process, cut the roughly two-week wait for returned job sheets, produced a large reduction in invoicing time (allowing invoices to be processed before month end), and improved operational visibility and customer service through real-time information.
