NASA's Sofia Program deploys 5-screen digital signage network with Mvix

NASA's SOFIA Program, which operates a flying infrared telescope, needed a more user-friendly and efficient way to communicate flight schedules and operational information across its dispersed personnel. The program previously relied on email, which pulled team members away from their core tasks. They implemented a digital signage solution from vendor Mvix to address this challenge.

The Mvix digital signage platform powered a network of five screens across three facilities, allowing personnel to manage and update content remotely. This solution resulted in more effective communication, becoming the team's go-to information hub and eliminating the need to check other systems. The success was so significant that NASA plans to expand the Mvix system to the German Aerospace Center headquarters.
