A Mvix Digital Signage Case Study
The Village of Schaumburg, a suburban community of about 75,000 residents (daytime population ~150,000), needed a reliable way to deliver customized, timely information to residents, visitors and commuters across dozens of municipal locations and venues (stadium, commuter rail, airport, performing arts center, convention center and major shopping center). After evaluating more than 25 digital signage solutions, the Village selected Mvix Digital Signage to provide a cloud-based digital signage platform that integrates with its WAN and existing content‑production capabilities.
Mvix Digital Signage implemented its cloud CMS, resilient media players and authoring tools to centrally and remotely manage dynamic content and schedules across all screens, whether on the WAN or not. The Village reports flawless technical performance, easy onsite schedule changes, responsive support, strong total cost of ownership and a “no‑fee” service model; the first rollout phase will complete in about three months, with a full network deployment across all facilities planned over a two‑year period.
