Case Study: NASA’s SOFIA Program improves cross-facility communication with Mvix Digital Signage

A Mvix Digital Signage Case Study

NASA’s Sofia Program deploys 5-screen digital signage network with Mvix Digital Signage

NASA's SOFIA program, which operates a flying infrared telescope, faced a challenge in communicating efficiently across its growing team spread across different facilities. Their personnel previously relied on email to find vital information on flight schedules and activities, which took them away from their core job tasks. They implemented a digital signage solution from vendor Mvix Digital Signage to address this.

The solution deployed was a network of five Mvix-powered screens across three facilities. This allowed personnel to manage displays and upload content remotely, ensuring information was always up-to-date. The result was more effective communication, with team members using the screens as their go-to information hubs instead of email. The network was so successful that NASA plans to add another Mvix system at the German Aerospace Center headquarters to further their communications.
