Encompass Health, one of the nation's largest post-acute healthcare providers, needed a more engaging, reliable channel for internal communications at its Fredericksburg rehabilitation hospital—emails were infrequently read and paper posts were easily overlooked across a 58‑bed facility with over 200 employees. They partnered with Mvix Digital Signage to deploy a content-rich solution: six networked displays and the XhibitSignage CMS, managed by HR to share process updates, birthdays/anniversaries, and employee engagement initiatives.

Mvix Digital Signage implemented six digital players/displays, cloud-based XhibitSignage, content integrations, advanced scheduling, remote management and implementation support so HR could push targeted messages from anywhere in the hospital. The rollout drove increased awareness of performance‑improvement campaigns, greater participation in employee initiatives (like Fun Fridays), improved cross-department communication, and a positive return on investment, with staff engagement and visibility noticeably higher after deployment.
