Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holyoke - Customer Case Study

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holyoke, a long-standing affiliate serving hundreds of youth, wanted to modernize how it communicated with parents, visitors and club members. Staff were relying on paper cork boards that attracted little attention, and the club needed a way to showcase student multimedia, automate event and activity information, and better engage families. To address this, they partnered with Mvix Digital Signage and implemented a digital signage network using Xhibit HD players and the XhibitSignage content management platform.

Mvix Digital Signage installed networked displays at high-traffic entrances and the main check-in window, enabled remote management by the IT director, and integrated feeds such as YouTube, event listings and special Winter Olympics content. The signs made announcements easier to share and showcased students’ photos and videos, leading to noticeably higher parent engagement—more people linger at the displays, increased volunteering and chaperoning for activities—and positioned the club as a tech benchmark among other Boys & Girls Clubs.
