Chamber RVA, the Richmond region chamber of commerce, turned to Muster to boost its advocacy program with online tools. Before Muster, Chamber RVA relied on traditional government relations and occasional member emails, and lacked an automated advocacy system, so staff couldn’t track or verify whether members contacted legislators.

Muster deployed its advocacy software (Assemble/Advocate/Analyze) to launch Action Alerts and an action center, enabling Chamber RVA to send multiple targeted alerts during the first legislative session that generated timely emails to state legislators on the relevant committees. Because Muster is easy to use, the chamber sent more advocacy messaging than ever, increased its visibility in legislative circles, and made it quick for members to take action—members reported it took only minutes to engage—resulting in stronger, trackable mobilization for Chamber RVA.
