Tugende is a motorcycle and SME asset-finance provider operating in Uganda and Kenya, helping boda-boda drivers and other small businesses move from renting to ownership. As the company expanded quickly, it needed a digital platform to manage client onboarding, repayments, and back-office operations across markets. Musoni System provided the core platform to support this growth.

Using Musoni System’s open APIs, Tugende fully automated its Salesforce CRM integration, connected multiple digital payment channels including M-PESA, and launched a driver app linked in real time to the Musoni platform. This gave Tugende a single point of truth for client and loan activity, reduced cash handling risk, improved efficiency, and enabled the company to manage over 20,000 active clients on the platform, serving 30,000 end clients overall.
