Paragon Health’s Deployment of Mushroom Networks’ Truffle Enabled Reliable VPN and Lowered Telecom Cost

Paragon Healthcare Group, a specialty infusion provider with 13 offices, needed high-capacity, redundant networking to reliably support data‑intensive EMRs and VoIP without the prohibitive cost of upgrading its MPLS. To solve this, Paragon turned to Mushroom Networks and deployed Truffle and Truffle Lite appliances using Broadband Bonding™ to aggregate multiple Internet links into a single, resilient VPN pipe.

Mushroom Networks’ solution—leveraging virtual leased lines, intelligent WAN orchestration, automated failover and ISP aggregation (with wireless standby)—gave Paragon near‑100% uptime and high‑9s VPN availability across all sites while supporting voice and EMR traffic. The deployment avoided an MPLS upgrade and lowered telecom costs by about $5,200 per month, delivering improved performance, redundancy and business continuity.
