Ascend Clinical - Customer Case Study

Ascend Clinical, a leading provider of renal clinic software serving clinics and patients across the U.S., faced costly MPLS links that created a single point of failure and degraded VoIP and cloud application performance. To improve call quality, reliability and reduce operating expenses, Ascend Clinical turned to Mushroom Networks and its Truffle-based SD-WAN/Broadband Bonding solution.

Mushroom Networks deployed Truffle appliances to bond multiple broadband links (fiber, cable, copper) and create self-healing SD‑WAN tunnels with VoIP-optimized paths. The deployment replaced MPLS, increased simultaneous VoIP call capacity, boosted WAN performance and uptime, reduced emergency IT incidents, and delivered up to 70% savings on WAN costs compared with their previous MPLS network.
