Pavilion Energy, Upskills, Murex First in SEA to deploy MX.3 to Microsoft Azure

Pavilion Energy, a global energy business headquartered in Singapore, needed a future‑proof platform to support end‑to‑end operations from LNG trading to energy risk management. To meet requirements for long‑term flexibility and viability, Pavilion Energy appointed Upskills to deploy the Murex Trading Platform (MX.3) on Microsoft Azure.

Upskills implemented MX.3 in Azure within eight months, integrating with ICE and market data providers, configuring VaR, Ops and Market Risk reporting, and automating accounting, settlement and trading controls to enable full straight‑through processing (STP). The Murex deployment reduced operational error risk, increased trading capacity, and optimized MX.3 environment management via Azure, providing a scalable foundation for adding new products and features (went live September 2019).
