Booz Allen - Customer Case Study

Booz Allen, a global consulting firm supporting a large U.S. government agency, needed to run a massive quarterly PI planning workshop remotely when COVID-19 halted travel. The event was highly collaborative and visual, and the team had just two weeks to convert a five-day, 60-breakout-session workshop for 300+ participants into a virtual format. Mural was the collaboration platform used to help make that shift possible.

Using Mural, Booz Allen digitized its PI planning process with collaborative murals, remote facilitation tools, anonymous voting, and breakout-room workflows organized around individual murals and Eventbrite session links. The result was Booz Allen’s first virtual PI planning event at scale, with over 300 attendees and 60 breakout sessions, and the workshop was described as more inclusive, engaging, and efficient than in-person sessions. Booz Allen also delivered all quarterly commitments and increased delivery by 30%.
