SAP, a global enterprise software company, needed to improve alignment, efficiency, and customer relationships across its pre-sales and sales teams. As the organization planned to double its headcount by 2025, it also faced challenges with leadership restructuring, engaging C-level stakeholders, and onboarding new hires quickly. SAP turned to Mural’s visual collaboration platform to help address these sales operations issues.
Using Mural, SAP redesigned team structures, centralized account planning, improved external customer collaboration, and created personalized onboarding plans for new sales associates. The results included a more unified “one SAP” approach, successful engagement in previously unresponsive accounts, and a reduction in pre-sales ramp time from 7–8 months to 3–4 months, cutting onboarding time by about 50%.
