Avocado Studios is a fictional design firm created to showcase a collaboration between Bay Area creatives, DMO in Buenos Aires, and the vendor Mural. Facing the challenge of exploring a new product idea inspired by Amazon Echo/Alexa to support creative teamwork, the hybrid global team needed to run LUMA design methods remotely, coordinate across time zones, and review detailed renders — all while maintaining a transparent project process.

Mural provided a unified MURAL workspace with separate rooms, templates for Agile/Lean/Design Thinking, and real-time collaboration so teams in San Francisco and Argentina could co-create, capture all digital artifacts, and revisit work as needed. Using Mural’s tools and facilitated remote sessions, the team developed PONTUS — a connected smart assistant concept that organizes meetings, timers, and workflow to boost productivity — and demonstrated measurable benefits such as seamless cross‑continent collaboration, flexible scheduling across time zones, and a persistent, reusable project record.
