Multi-Programming Solutions (MPS) was engaged by Shopify to integrate a fraud prevention application into the Shopify platform. The client's challenge was that their existing "Prevent Online Fraud Shopify App" service, which calculates order fraud risk, could not be integrated as intended; its demo version was non-functional for this purpose, and the service itself contained bugs that stalled development.

The vendor, Multi-Programming Solutions, compiled specifications, fixed the core fraud service's defects, and then completed its integration via Shopify API. The solution included a managed application for store owners to set risk thresholds, view analytics, and automate order handling. MPS successfully deployed the service, published a beta to the Shopify App Store, and established a full operational system for fraud scoring, reporting, and customer communication.
