The project required sending order data to Pacejet and displaying the calculated rates on the Shopify checkout page, all within a strict 10-second time limit imposed by Shopify. Multi-Programming Solutions developed a private Shopify application that integrated Pacejet's API, enabling the management of product variant dimensions and the parallel processing of carrier groups to meet the time limit. The solution also included features for address validation, CSV import/export, and case dimension management. The vendor successfully deployed the application across five stores, achieving the client's goal of providing real-time, calculated shipping rates alongside flat rates.
