WatchBox launches eCommerce 50% faster in new markets

WatchBox, a global leader in pre-owned luxury watches with over $200M in revenue, needed to move beyond brick-and-mortar retail and scale internationally via eCommerce. The company’s challenge was to create a fast, localized online experience while unlocking and unifying inventory and pricing data trapped in legacy and homegrown systems.

Using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WatchBox adopted an API-led approach to integrate inventory, catalogs and pricing in real time and localize product availability, currency and language per market. The team launched U.S. and E.U. sites in six months, then reused the same APIs to enter the Middle East in six weeks and Singapore in two, cutting new-market launch times by 50% and reducing integration maintenance effort by about 25%.
