Redwood Logistics transforms transportation and logistics with B2B integration

Redwood Logistics, a transportation and logistics provider, launched TMS.io to profitably enter the mid‑market with a SaaS transportation management system. Customer onboarding was slowed by the need to connect TMS.io to customers’ ERPs and warehouse systems and by the complexity of EDI standards, causing implementation delays and rework.

Partnering with MuleSoft, Redwood built an EDI transformation layer on Anypoint Platform and an application network of reusable API assets to automate partner-specific data transforms. The API‑led approach accelerated delivery, enabled faster access to resources and data‑driven solutions, and cut customer onboarding from 6–9 months to about 60 days.
