Hologic, a global healthcare and diagnostics company with 5,000+ employees, adopted Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds to give sales and support teams a real-time, 360-degree view of customers. Executives set an aggressive six-month timeline for a production pilot, but the IS team was hampered by a heavyweight integration stack and needed a faster way to share data in real time across on‑premise and cloud systems.

Hologic chose MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform and an API-led approach, leveraging prebuilt connectors (Oracle EBS, Salesforce), reusable connectivity assets, and Anypoint Studio’s drag-and-drop design to speed development. The change tripled integration speed—producing 25 end-to-end real-time integrations in four months—enabled the Salesforce pilot to be delivered on time and on budget, and gave teams the real-time customer data they needed; Hologic now plans to standardize MuleSoft as its integration platform.
