The University of South Florida (USF) is a large public university serving nearly 50,000 students across multiple campuses. Students expect consumer-grade digital services, but years of point-to-point integrations left IT with a huge backlog, technical debt, and a limited budget, making it difficult to deliver the modern, integrated experiences students, faculty, and administrators want.
Using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform, USF unified siloed systems and data to eliminate the integration backlog and launch a student care-team portal that gives advisors a single view of academic, financial, and registry information for proactive outreach. That solution has improved student support, contributed to higher graduation rates, and USF is now building an application network to deliver additional products that further boost student success.
