AXA Luxembourg connects systems for a single customer view

AXA Luxembourg, part of the AXA Group, needed to accelerate its digital transformation to become the preferred insurer but was held back by costly, custom-coded integrations that tied together on‑premises and cloud systems. The company wanted to automate processes like claims management, create a single customer view to speed up service, and reduce operational overhead while boosting employee productivity.

Partnering with Cap4 Lab, AXA implemented MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform and formed a Center of Enablement (C4E), training teams to build reusable APIs. In 12 weeks they developed six APIs for claims (vs. 18 weeks with custom code) and completed a Customer 360 rollout in one year; the result was faster delivery (projects 3× faster, integrations 30% quicker), 25% less manual work, and 60% API reuse—improving customer experience and freeing teams to innovate.
