Vanquis Banking Group, a long-established financial services provider, needed to modernize a patchwork of legacy systems spread across departments so it could move faster, reduce downtime, and improve digital customer experiences. To create a centralized platform for innovation, Vanquis Banking Group turned to MuleSoft and its integration platform, working with MuleSoft Professional Services to connect core systems and support a more agile operating model.
MuleSoft helped Vanquis Banking Group build around 60 APIs and a single customer view by integrating 12–15 legacy systems, Salesforce, the bank’s analytics platform, telephony, cloud lending software, and mobile app. The results included handling 1.5 million transactions per month, a 25% increase in API development efficiency, and a 40–44% API reuse rate, while also enabling faster onboarding, real-time updates, and more efficient service and analytics.
