Shop Direct Limited, the UK’s leading multi-brand digital retailer (Very.co.uk, Littlewoods.com), needed to extend its successful iPhone MyVery experience to Android as mobile traffic from Android matched iOS. To deliver a tailored, native Android shopping app and preserve the engaging UX of the iOS app, Shop Direct Limited engaged Mubaloo to build the MyVery Android app using Google’s Material design.

Mubaloo implemented a native Android app with integrated web elements for easy content management and added features like Cortexica’s findSimilarTM “Snap & Match” image search across ~40,000 products. Launched in August 2015, the MyVery Android app recorded 30,000 downloads in its first month, holds a 4.3‑star average rating and helped Shop Direct Limited achieve a 9% visit-to-purchase conversion rate.
