Samsung Futurescape - Customer Case Study

Samsung Futurescape ran the Futurescape Retail pop-up to grow its share of the business market by showcasing Samsung’s B2B solutions and demonstrating how beacon technology can personalise retail experiences. To meet this challenge Samsung partnered with Mubaloo, which developed the Samsung Event App (via the Mubaloo Innovation Lab) to deliver location-based, personalised content and interactions across the event.

Mubaloo’s app used beacons in five zones to trigger welcome messages, named displays and relevant text/video on devices, while logging attendee behaviour for follow-up campaigns. Over two days, 118 users generated 2,877 check-ins, with an average dwell time of 10 minutes per zone, 2.6 visits per solution, and average attendee time on-site of 1 hour 40 minutes; Voloforce was the most-visited solution and attendees spent the most time with Qudini. Mubaloo’s solution both showcased partner products seamlessly (few buttons, simple UX) and produced actionable data to drive targeted post-event campaigns.
