Haymarket Media Group hired Mubaloo’s mobile strategy consultants to extend its automotive brands into mobile and test new revenue models. Mubaloo set up an “App Factory” and ran a mobile strategy session to prioritise ideas—focusing on in‑app payments, paid downloads and sponsored/syndicated apps—so Haymarket could move beyond simply digitising magazines and rapidly prototype marketable mobile products.
Mubaloo worked with Haymarket to narrow 12 concepts to three prototype apps—CarNameGame, CarNewsFeed and MyCarCost—targeting car lovers, buyers and sellers. The outputs gave Haymarket measurable audience and brand‑awareness insight (e.g., game scores showing brand recognition, news filters revealing audience interests) and a sponsored app model for ownership‑cost data; Haymarket continues to work with Mubaloo’s App Factory to analyse results and iterate.
