Diabetes.co.uk, Europe’s largest online community for people with diabetes (over one million visitors a month and 125,000 registered active members), wanted to extend its existing iOS offering to Android to give users a more interactive, optimised mobile experience. To deliver this, Diabetes.co.uk selected Mubaloo to design and develop the DiabetesPA Android app.

Mubaloo reimagined the iOS app for Android, improving UX and adhering to Android UI conventions while keeping and enhancing core functionality. The DiabetesPA app works as a personal diabetes assistant—tracking blood glucose, insulin, cholesterol, HbA1c, mood, exercise, weight and BMI, providing alerts and medication reminders, visual reports and exportable summaries for clinicians. Mubaloo’s solution is set to aid Diabetes.co.uk’s 20,000 members, making day‑to‑day management easier, improving users’ understanding of influencing factors and supporting better long‑term care.
