Bang & Olufsen, the luxury audio and television maker, wanted a redesigned BeoRemote app that better reflected its design credentials and improved the mobile user experience for controlling home entertainment. To deliver a brand-appropriate, user-focused remote solution, Bang & Olufsen engaged Mubaloo to define the UX and design and to build the new BeoRemote app for mobile devices.

Mubaloo designed and developed the BeoRemote apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, implementing a pared-back, unified interface that controls TV, sources, channels, stand positions and speaker groups (showing user-assigned names) and adds an iPad electronic programme guide. The apps, developed and tested by Mubaloo, went live in December 2014, have been well received by Bang & Olufsen and customers, and are available for BeoVision Avant, Beovision 11, BeoSystem 4 and BeoPlay V1 owners.
