Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, a global asset manager with over £300 billion in assets under management, more than 2,700 employees across 26 countries and 30+ offices, needed a simple mobile way for staff on the move to find office details, employee contacts and business continuity information. Having an in‑house backend team but seeking mobile expertise, Aberdeen selected Mubaloo (via Clutch) to pilot a mobility project and build the On The Go App — iPhone.

Mubaloo delivered the On The Go iPhone app that provides a global employee directory, office details with timezone and map/list views, and office-specific business continuity and assembly point information. The app went live in December 2015, won internal praise at Aberdeen and prompted the company to commission Mubaloo to build an Android version — demonstrating measurable uptake and confidence in Mubaloo’s solution across Aberdeen’s mobile workforce.
